I'm the very proud mother of two wonderful children, Matthew and Amber. Matthew's 15 and plays baseball and loves just about all sports. Amber's 12 and finds her talent in volleyball and running track/cross country. My children are unique kids and very artistic in their own right. Matthew is a born fiction writer with a great imagination and Amber will eventually be my little illustrator with her beautiful art work. My husband, Brent, has given me the opportunity to pursue the passion which I've always loved—writing. After years of chasing what everyone else thought I should do, I'm now doing what I am supposed to do and life is finally good .

Born and raised on a cattle farm in Tennessee , I lived a pretty exciting life as a teenager which will later be the basis of some fictional works planned. I still live in the beautiful area of northeastern Tennessee but dream of living in Arizona or somewhere very warm where the climate is more suitable for my taste all year round!

I'm the oldest of five children and am lucky enough to have my parents and my maternal grandmother still very much alive and well! Our family has a new addition so I have a baby niece.

When I'm not at the computer typing away, I like to agitate my dog Lucy (and she is very much a part of my family), shop and spend time with my children or with Hannah, my niece. Our family time is usually gatherings at a ballpark or gym for a ballgame but that's the way it's supposed to be right now. Later in life, I plan to soak up the rays on a sandy beach somewhere but for now, my sandy volleyball court in the back yard will have to suffice! My home away from home is Tunica, Mississippi and I love to play poker and craps so Tunica is a likely hot spot for us when we want some time away! I'm an avid reader and read a lot of non-fiction titles as well as mysteries. Oh yes, and I'm taking up running, I just haven't decided when yet. The year 2010 is looking pretty good.

My first attempt at writing was in the late seventies. I wrote some stories about dogs and horses and submitted it to Crown Publishing and later a few others. I hope to someday find these stories and rejection letters to post just so you can see how long it took for a little girl in the fifth grade to finally come full circle back to the place where childhood dreams can be realized.

Writing for me, as a career path, has moved rather quickly. I began working on large projects in November of 2005 and discovered a keen interest in many different genres. Call me fickle, but I would be bored with just one or two focuses. I write ghost writes for several authors on the internet and love it when I find out someone likes something I've written as a ghost when they don't know it's mine! E-books are fun to write and I've done several work-for-hire projects in that market. As of March 2006, over 500 gambling articles as ghost writes for online and offline markets were written by me as well as about another one hundred under a pen name, which will soon be revealed.
